“This season, I wanted to create an outerwear piece for the in-between season, and this sweatshirt fits the bill. It's roomy enough to layer with a shirt, long-sleeve top, hoodie, or even a thin sweater. I also suggest pairing it with less athletic pieces—skirts, underskirts, and slips,” Nino Shamatava, creative director of Ushatava.
This sweatshirt has an oversized silhouette and a universal fit. It is made of a thin, rough-textured nylon raincoat fabric—a new material in the Garderobe line. The piece is lined with a lightweight mesh. The lining features shoulder pockets designed to fit removable soft shoulder pads. The drawstring along the hem allows you to make the sweatshirt more puffy and also regulate the microclimate under it by tightening the elastic during windy weather or loosening it to release body heat. There are two zipper side pockets.
