Grandpa’s Fit is a new term in the Garderobe line’s vocabulary. This silhouette is inspired by the Ushatava design team’s memories of their parents’ wardrobes. The Grandpa’s Fit shirt dress inherits the key features of a vintage men’s shirt: a classic shirt collar, drop shoulders, and exaggeratedly long sleeves. When unbuttoned, the extra-wide cuffs set the overall relaxed tone; when buttoned, they create a more reserved look.
The item is made of dense, shape-retaining cotton. We deliberately did not match the stripes at the seams—one of Ushatava’s iconic design techniques. The model has a universal loose fit and a straight silhouette, but it can be fitted with the help of the waist drawstring and cord locks at the sides.
