Some bestsellers of the fashion house have got their names for their resemblance to a letter of the alphabet. The profile silhouette of this jacket resembles the letter D. Its universal fit—the inverted trapezoid shape, broad shoulders, and long sleeves—makes it suitable for men as well.
This bomber jacket is made of a fabric that visually resembles paper. In reality, it is a high-tech raincoat material that is lightweight and waterproof. These characteristics allowed us to create a practical outerwear piece that folds into a small velcro-attached envelope built into the jacket itself. The jacket is unlined, all edges are laser-cut, and instead of a zipper or buttons, we chose a velcro fastener to minimize weight. The sleeve cuffs are also lined with velcros for wrist fastening. There are two side pockets. The envelope has a loop for attaching it to a carabiner, so you can attach the folded bomber jacket to the belt loop of your jeans and leave your bag at home.
