“For me, a slim silhouette means stepping out of my comfort zone. First, as a designer who rarely works with these kinds of silhouettes, and second, as someone who almost always wears oversized clothes. But a fitted silhouette can pull you together in every sense—that’s its strength and beauty,” says Nino Shamatava, creative director of Ushatava.
In terms of shape, this coat resembles a compact rectangle. The main focus is on the high shoulders—all the details are concentrated in close proximity to them: a high collar with a tab to secure the collar upright, buttons, and a chest pocket. The garment features shortened sleeves that expose the wrists. Pressed creases on both sides visually elongate the silhouette and emphasize the anatomical shape. There are two side pockets.
