We designed this cloak as versatile outerwear and a recognizable piece of merchandise for the fashion house at the same time. The bright prints on the garment encode key symbols and design elements of Ushatava, from the name of the “I am that I am” collection to visual clichés and optical illusions. Like notes in the margins left by an experienced researcher, they serve as a reminder of our inward journey.
The lightweight dust cover, made from waterproof coat fabric, can be worn over a suit, dress, coat, or puffer jacket, instantly changing your entire look. The coat fastens with buttons, and the deep hood secures with snaps. At the cuffs, patches with buckles are sewn along the hem of the sleeves.
