From the very founding of our fashion house, we have worked extensively with single pieces of fabric. “I appreciate this approach for its spontaneity: to create a prototype, all you need is a piece of fabric, clamps or pins, and a model,” explains Nino Shamatava, creative director of Ushatava. The idea for the Canvas Hoodie emerged precisely under these circumstances.
This garment combines the features of several wardrobe items at once, elevating it to the rank of transformer pieces. The hem extends to the ground, forming a long train not from the back, but from the front edge of the hoodie. This design allows the fabric to be draped in various ways: the cloth can be thrown over the shoulder, draped over the back, or wrapped around the legs, waist, neck, or head.
